Gynaecomastia
Gynaecomastia is enlargement of the male breast. The breast enlarges due to excess glandular tissue and / or excess fatty deposits and is usually benign. The condition may be familial or have no cause and can occasionally be disease or drug related. Gynaecomastia usually causes embarrassment for the patient. Click Here

Liposuction
Liposuction, also known as suction lipectomy or liposculpture is a technique to remove unwanted fat deposits from specific areas of the body, including the abdomen, buttocks, hips and thighs.  It is used to improve the overall body appearance by reducing and re-contouring localised collections of fat that does not respond to dieting or exercise.  It is not a substitute for weight reduction or a cure for obesity.

The best candidates for liposuction are of relatively normal weight but have pockets of excess fat in particular areas.  A firm elastic skin results in a better final contour.

Otoplasty (Correction of Prominent Ears)

Otoplasty is a surgical procedure to correct prominent or “bat ears”, making the ears more in proportion to the size and shape of the face and head.  Surgery can be performed after the age of 5 or 6.  The younger the patient the more pliable the cartilage is to allow easier shaping.

Rhinoplasty (Nose Reshaping)

Rhinoplasty is a surgical procedure to improve the shape and size of the nose in relation to the face.  The procedure may be required due to previous trauma to the nose or a desired change in the appearance of the nose.

Changing the shape of the nose is achieved by altering the underlying anatomy. Bony humps on the bridge can be removed, the tip reshaped and the angle between the nose and upper lip increased. Some parts may be made narrower or smaller, others may need to be enlarged. Rhinoplasty may be performed in conjunction with a septoplasty (correction of the septum blocking the airway) to correct breathing problems.
